Boundary Electric (1985) Ltd. is situated on 13 acres, in the heart of Boundary country in Grand Forks, BC. This is where the company was originally founded in 1947 and incorporated in 1949. At that time, BEL was a prominent contractor in the region and for a period of time carried over 300 employees.

The area is widely known for it's rich mountains and forests, making it a prime location for the resource based industries.

In 1985, BEL reorganized to form what is today Boundary Electric (1985) Ltd. As an area leader in electrical service and supply, BEL has become as diversified in product range as it is in technical expertise.
