Boundary Electric is seeking adaptable and results-driven Account Executives to join our teams in both Canada and the United States!!

The Account Executive will report to the Sales & Business Development Manager and play a crucial role in driving revenue growth, fostering client relationships, and overseeing key projects. This position requires a strategic mindset, exceptional communication skills, and a keen ability to understand client needs. You will be responsible for managing client accounts, generating new business opportunities, and ensuring client satisfaction through effective project management.

Key Responsibilities:

Client Relationship Management:

· Build and maintain strong, long-lasting relationships with key clients.

· Serve as the primary point of contact for client inquiries, concerns, and requests.

· Understand clients’ business objectives and challenges to provide tailored solutions.

Business Development:

· Identify and pursue new business opportunities through proactive prospecting and networking.

· Conduct market research to identify potential clients and industry trends.

· Develop strategic plans to expand the company’s client base and revenue streams.

Quoting & Proposal Development:

· Prepare accurate and competitive quotes for client projects and services.

· Collaborate with internal teams to develop comprehensive proposals that align with client needs and objectives.

· Present proposals to clients and negotiate terms to secure new business.

Project Management:

· Coordinate cross-functional teams to allocate resources, manage timelines, and mitigate risks.

· Monitor project progress and communicate updates to clients regularly.

Performance Analysis & Reporting:

· Track sales performance metrics, including revenue growth, client retention, and new business development.

· Analyze data to identify trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement.

· Prepare reports and presentations for senior management to assess account performance and strategic initiatives.

Other:

· Other duties may be assigned as required. This role requires adaptability and a willingness to take on varied tasks to support team and organizational goals.

Qualifications, Skills, and Attributes:

· Proven track record of success in strategic account management and business development.

· Strong negotiation skills with the ability to close deals and achieve revenue targets.

· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with clients and internal stakeholders.

· Demonstrated ability to think strategically, solve problems, and drive results.

· Experience in project management and cross-functional collaboration.

· Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.

· Self-motivated and goal-oriented, with a passion for delivering exceptional client service.
