Boundary Electric has been powering industry since 1947, delivering custom electrical solutions built to perform. We specialize in transformers, switchgear, substations, and modular data centers — engineered for the demands of AI, crypto, mining, utilities, oil & gas, and more. From our ISO 9001:2015 certified facilities in Grand Forks, BC, Trail, BC, and Houston, Texas, with over 120,000 sq. ft. of manufacturing space, we design, manufacture, and service high-quality equipment with precision and reliability. With decades of expertise and a proven track record, we power projects across North America and beyond.

Since 1947, Boundary Electric has proudly operated out of our headquarters in Grand Forks, British Columbia. From our roots as a local service provider, we’ve evolved into a leading manufacturer and supplier of transformers, switchgear, and modular data centers. With over 75 years of experience, we’ve earned a strong reputation for delivering reliable, innovative power solutions to utilities, mining operations, data centers, and renewable energy projects across North America and beyond.
In recent years, Boundary Electric has expanded its capabilities with two facilities in British Columbia, one in Houston, Texas, and an robust Overseas Quality Control team, supported by a growing workforce of 100+ employees worldwide. The company has diversified its product and service offerings to support emerging industries such as cryptocurrency mining and AI-driven data centers. This strategic evolution has positioned Boundary Electric at the forefront of next-generation electrical infrastructure, combining decades of manufacturing expertise with forward-looking innovation.
